Missus up hill when I down shift takes off good missus at low rpm's. Take off seems to do a little better when it is cool in the mornings.

Hello, I'm Danny.

By any chance is the check engine light on? If you don't have access to a scanner/code reader your local auto parts stores have a tool loaner and will rent you one. Also, some auto parts stores will check the codes for free. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

If the check engine light is on get back to us with the information so we can properly diagnose your car.Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks for using 2CarPros and hope this helps.

Good evening,

I would start with the spark plugs and the boots. Common for worn plugs and leaking boots.

Injectors could also be the issue. Additives have no effect. They need to be cleaned professionally.

Make sure your filters are in good condition. Fuel and air.

Air filter is good. When I got the car the code reader said multiple misfire I put new plugs in it the miss stopped about 75 percent then 400 miles later it came back and that has been 7,000 miles ago. I put new plugs in it last week but it was the same I put used coils on it two days ago and didn't change it.

Okay, used coils is never a good idea.

I would start with checking both the compression and the fuel pressure.

I put a new air filter in it it ran fine for 10 miles and the check engine light went out but then right back at missing again. Then I put a new air filter in it and it didn't change (drove it to auto parts store).

The air filter will not cause a miss.

You need to follow the suggestions I posted before as a start.
