Driving down the road and the vehicle started to lose power. Eventually it cut off. Towed it home.
Sometimes when you try to start it it does start but immediately cuts off. But most of time it won't start at all.
Check for spark. Which I was getting but seemed weak and inconsistent
Sprayed starting fluid in intake still wouldn't start.
Replaced camshaft, crankshaft sensor and still would not start.
Has codes p0014 and p0366.
What code be issue?

Good afternoon,

I would start by checking the compression to see if you have a timing issue with the chain.

This sounds like a crank sensor as it is related to both codes and would explain the little or no spark issue.

I've checked compression. Got good readings. 160 each cylinders.

Does the tachometer go up a little while cranking?

Did you check the fuel pressure? Try spraying some carburetor cleaner in the air filter and see if it starts and stalls.

Fuel pressure seems good. Read 60 psi when key is turned to on position. Dose drop do to about 50 psi after 10 minutes. When cranking the engine it bounces around 50 through 60 psi. Sprayed starting fluid in throttle doesn't do anything. Tachometer doesn't move while cranking. Getting codes p0135 and p0141 now.

Keep in mind. The truck does act like it wants to start. And when it does it shuts off immediately. Also the instrument gauges start going crazy and lights start flickering.

Can you check for spark when it is cranking?

It could be a crank sensor.

The pressure should not bounce at all. It needs to be constant.

I would also check the compression. You need to be sure the chain timing is correct.

Compression reading was like 180 psi. There is spark when cranking. And I already changed the crank sensor.

Okay, back to the fuel pump. It should never bounce around.

What was the pressure while cranking?

Good, thank you.

I am concerned about the fuel pump. It should not bounce like that.

Can you see if there is actual fuel in the rail? I am concerned you may have pressure but no volume.

You would need to bleed down the system to 0. Then remove the core in the rail adapter for the gauge. It is the same as a tire valve. Then hook up a hose to the connection and run it to a bucket.

Then turn on the key and check the fuel flow out of the rail.

Okay, when you crank it, does the tachometer move up a little? That will tell me if the crank sensor is working.

I attached a wiring diagram as well. Check the coils at the red wire for power. It is controlled by the fuse listed.

No. I do not know, I'm just lost at this point. It does spark sometimes but it is very weak when it does.
