Ran a scam and it showed low voltage to MAF.

Then check for a short in wiring leading to MAF or a bad MAF.

New battery, alternator etc. Normally starts instantly. Today engine turned over for ages but my vehicle did not start. After about twenty minutes and many tries, it finally started. Drove for half an hour turned engine off, it then started easily every time.

Check fuel filter for blockage.

Try resetting security system on car then check fuel pressure may be a bad pump. auto parts rent gauge.

Thank you. I tried STP injector cleaner, suv has started many times daily since the original problem. Yesterday it cranked over for 20 minutes and didn't start. Re-occurring problem about once every week or so? Perhaps I'll take it into the garage for analysis.

Is the check engine light on? It sounds like you have a crankshaft angle sensor that is going out intermittently. Please scan for codes, here is a guide that will help you

My mechanic scanned the codes, nothing showed up. It's starting again. He suggested when it doesn't start again, have it towed in, then they can troubleshoot.

Hi Ken
My Santa Fe wouldn't start yesterday nor today. I tried resetting the security system. Locking all doors and opening the driver's door with the key. It then started. I cannot locate the tip on resetting the security code, please send it to me again so I can explain to my mechanic.
