2001 Chevy Tahoe Four Wheel Drive Automatic 150000 miles

My husband went to start the car last night and when he turned the key there was a pop or click and nothing happened. The car didn't turn on or even turn over and then there was nothing electrical working. We checked some of the fuses and the ones that we checked were fine. What do you think it could be? I would hate to have it towed to a shop for something that we could have fixed ourselves. Thanks for any help that you can give.
Thanks,
Nancy

Ummm, Yeah I checked the other fuses and they are fine. I can't check #18 125A because I can't find it. Do I have to take the box apart or something to get to it? Thanks again so much for any help.
Thanks,
Nancy

Hey, I checked the #17 fuse and it is fine as well. Do you think it could have something to do with the battery? There appears to be some sort of corrosive leakage out of the bottom of the battery in the corner because it is all over the battery tray.

Yeah sounds like the battery has blown out. Replace the battery.
