Hello,

It sounds like the fuel pump could have picked up debris from the bottom of the tank and possibly has a clogged line or strainer. Another possibility is a faulty fuel pump due to running on empty. It could have overheated and burnt out.
It could also be a clogged fuel filter.

Can you hear the fuel pump come on when you turn the key?

Test the fuel pressure to verify that you are getting proper fuel pressure.
The fuel pressure check valve is located on the fuel rail.
This vehicle should have 60-66 PSI of fuel pressure with the key On and engine Off.
