Engine will not start without priming the throttle body

Chevy Silverado 5.7 l engine will not start unless the trottle body is primed first. The fuel pump has plenty of pressure and it has a new fuel filter it must be sensor how do I find it
no check engine light comes on

Have you tried giving it some gas pedal? Does it sputter at all?

Yes give it gas with the pedal and it runs normal once started

I mean if you push pedal and hold while trying to start it starts? Is that what you mean?
