Whenever the car is in park or still for too long the temperature gauge starts moving up and the A/C no longer feels cool but starts blowing out warm air. Now that it’s getting hotter out the car is overheating when in park. what should I do?

Good afternoon,

You need to perform a pressure test to check for any coolant leaks. That will cause overheating. Check for any leaks at the hoses.

If that is good, I would suggest a thermostat as it may be stuck closed or partially closed.

Are the cooling fans working when it heats up? If they are not, then that is the reason it is heating up at idle.I attached a wiring diagram of the fans for you. I would check the fuses to be sure there is power on both sides of the fuse.
