A/C blend door linkage installation

Interestingly, if the Freon is too low, the compressor won't engage. However, it may be low enough that it still turns on, but doesn't cool properly. And no, that shouldn't have hurt anything.

Here is what I suggest at this point. Simply try to add Freon to the system. Here is a link that explains how it's done:

If you still get no cold air from the unit, I will need to know the high and low side pressures which will require an A/C manifold gauge set.
