My car does not heat up when I turn the heater on.
1995 NISSAN ALTIMA
I have replaced the thermostat and flushed the radiator. Could someone give me a picture of how the thermostat goes in because I possibly could have put it in wrong.
have the same problem?

Make sure the spring side is downwards and if it has jiggle valve makes sure its facing the mark on the housing, also bleed the cooling system-sorry no pic

Should the side with the spring be facing toward the engine or away from it and does the air relief valve have anything to do with the thermostat or my car heater not heating up?

The spring side should be facing the engine-try checking the air blend door/actuator

Is that the air relief plug and what should I be looking for?
