So, I replace the gas tank the hole pump system everything new. I have power and the plug and ground even re grounded it all good but won't start. Pump runs for a second. I can hear it try to start the car and won't start unless I put the pedal to the floor. Acts like when it is started it sounds like it has a misfire, runs rough. This car never did that.

Good morning,

The fuel pump will run for 2 seconds with the key in the on position. It should run all the time when cranking. Can you hear it run while cranking?

The ECM is what controls the fuel pump operation. The coolant sensor is what controls fuel mapping. That may be the issue with it flooding as you suggest.

I attached some guides for you to review. You need to test the fuel pressure and spark to be sure they are there and able to run the car.
