The car had no issues before I replaced my fuel pump last night. Then this morning I go to start the car and I get a electronic throttle body light and the check engine light come on. Then when I try to start the car it’s not starting like it was before the replacement, and the car now has like a muffled puffing sound coming from the exhaust.

Good morning,

Why did you replace the fuel pump?

What is the code that is set for the check engine light?

You need a spark, fuel pressure, and compression to start. Have you checked any of these systems?
