Okay. If these are wires, then can you remove the wire? I would get a really good picture of it so that you don't risk forgetting where the wire was but if you got the pins correct then I would just use these alligator clip wires and hook it up as a test.

Basically, it will allow you quickly find out if the fuse still blows.

I must let this rest for a while. I have a trip to make to take care of business. Going from Little Rock AR to Atlantic City, New Jersey. So, this will have to wait. Meanwhile, I will order some of those wires. Thank you for your help so far. Why would running out of gas impact those wires? Jmc

Okay. Sounds good. I will be taking a leave as well so whenever you get back to it either I or another expert will pick it up.

As for why this happened, I can't explain it. All I know is if that fuse is blowing something is shorted to ground and we just have to go where the testing takes us.

Thanks for the update

I finally got back from my trip and want to restart working on my car. I bought a supply of 15- and 10-amp fuses. I will try to pick up the troubleshooting looking for the short that is blowing the 15-amp main fuse where I stopped at the engine compartment fuse holder block. The last wiring diagram you sent should have the main relay and this 15-amp main fuse shares the same hot connection. So, I guess I should try to disconnect all other circuits and see if I can determine which circuit has the short. After the main fuse that keeps blowing. I need your advice, please. Thanks, Jimmy
