2002 Kia Sportage Won't Start

Overheated and engine stalled. Is there a reset or maybe what could be the problem

There is no reset. You may have caused damage to the engine based on how hot it got and for how long. I need you to check to see if the engine is getting spark and fuel. If you need directions, let me know. If you are getting both and it still doesn't start, you will need to check compression.
