These codes and the fact that the engine will not start is telling us we need to check the fuses primarily.

Here is a guide to help please check the fuses with the key on:

I can tell you I have seen the instrument cluster cause problems like this so if the fuses are good, it could be bad, we should do a complete CAN scan which is easy to do. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

P0920 - Gear Shift Forward Actuator Circuit/Open: This code suggests that there's an issue with the electrical circuit associated with the gear shift forward actuator. This could be due to a faulty actuator, a problem with the wiring or connectors, or an issue with the control module.

P0921 - Gear Shift Reverse Actuator Circuit/Open: Similar to P0920, this code indicates a problem with the gear shift reverse actuator circuit. It could be due to a defective actuator, wiring issues, or problems with the control module.

P0999 - Shift Solenoid "F" Control Circuit High: This code is a bit less common and might not be specific to the 1998 Dodge Durango. Generally, it indicates an issue with one of the shift solenoids, specifically the "F" solenoid.

So, I assume the engine is cranking over but not running is this correct? Please go over this guide and get back to us.
