I have a 1998 Dodge Durango 4X4 5.9 liter V8
My truck will not start. It will crank, but will not turn over & start. I have replaced Distributor Cap & Rotor due to not enough spark caused by corrosion & wear & tear. I was told it is fine now. What could be my problem?

My guess is to check the battery for the first thing. The car will crank, but not start if that happens. Your local auto parts store will be able to test it for you.

If thats not the case, change your plug wires.

And if that doesnt solve it, you have to know its an ignition/electrical problem and have a mechanic take a look.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot. I actually figured it out. The ignition coil was bad. There wasn't enough spark. As soon as I noticed it wouldn't spark I took it to the auto parts store where they tested it. Replaced it & all is good now. Thanks again for your reply.
