Replaced electronic spark control, new plugs, wires, fuel pump, had computer checkked. 3 chevrolet dealships are stumped as well as 3 other local mecanics. The car before yesterday would only start and idle and when you press the gas it would die. The service engine light stays off and everything has been replaced that the service engine light detects. This morning I got in it the service engine light stayed on and it ran fine until it got warmed up and I shut it off. Now it will start but run rough for about 3-5 seconds and die instantly, any ideas?

Welcome to the forum, what were the codes? The codes don't tell you what to replace, only that the computer thinks there is a problem on that circuit. Could be a wiring circuit, almost anything? How long since a tune-up, did anybody use a gage to check fuel pressure? What was the pressure reading? Right now sounds like it is running lean for some reason, egr-- vacuum leak-- fuel pressure?
