Blue smoke out the exhaust

My car blows out very light blue smoke out the exhaust when I give it some gas. Idles normally. When idling there is no sign of blue smoke. Any ideas? If so, what would it cost me to repair the problem? (Labor work not included, because I will be working on it myself).
