My car is blowing blue smoke when I am first accelerating or god forbid I slow down and have to take off. So embarrassing. Also, when I do brake some smoke does come out as well. Also car idles very high when holding foot on brake at a drive through and when I put it in park the car idles really high. Once I switched it back into gear it jerks forward while also making a knocking noise when I am holding the brake. I am using up a lot more gas than I should maybe half is leaving out the tail pipe but, I really need help before I push this car off a bridge.

Hi Ashley,

Make sure the oil level is correct and not over filled, next there is a PCV box under the intake manifold that could be plugged up or leaking. Also, check the oil drain back holes in the cylinder head to make sure they are clear. If you have sludge in the engine then oil will build up causing it to smoke,

Here is a guide that might help.

Please let us know what happens.
