This is what I hear when I turn the A/C on inside the car.

That sounds like a bad bearing in the compressor. Do you hear anything under the hood when the AC is off or on? Does changing the fan speed change the noise at all?

No noise under the hood only when I turn on the A/C button inside the car I hear this hissing noise in the EVAP. Fan is quiet on all speeds. Maybe clogged expansion valve or weak compressor? I sent video did you hear it?

Heard it just trying to narrow down what can make that sound. Does the AC still cool okay? Any type of smell or oily residue? How about the airflow out of the vents, is it the same as it was? Do you have a set of AC pressure gauges? A clogged valve would show up as a higher pressure and would likely shut the compressor off.

I installed gauges and have equal pressure and start the unit and suction pressure only drops to 60 psi gauge and discharge pressure is 125 psi gauge and that is all it will do. Inside the car you can hear like a high pressure air like noise being blown through the inside of the EVAP. Turn the compressor off and the stops all most like the expansion valve is not restricting the refrigerant.

That noise sounds like the compressor is back feeding the noise through the low side telling us the compressor is bad or the expansion block is wide open. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job and diagrams below to see what it will be like on your car.

Expansion Valve part # 976263R000 - $167.09 retail.

Here is a video on how to vacuum down and recharge the system. You can get both parts from Amazon/RockAuto

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

As Ken says, that high of a low side and the lower high side sounds like a bad compressor.
