Climate controls don't work

Replaced blower motor resistor and controls worked fine. Days after, climate controls stopped working. No heat or a/c and fan doesn't work. Can only turn on rear defrost. Turn on the a/c button, but it goes off if you turn the fan dial up.

Did you replace the blower motor?

Why did you replace the resistor?

Had to replace the resistor because the fan didn't work on lower speeds, only when the dial was turned all the way up.

It sounds like the blower motor may be drawing too much current causing the resistor to fail. You may have to replace the resistor and blower motor together.
