I installed a loaded input drum and new front and rear planetary s, now only have reverse, no forward movement, rear plant went out which took out input drum, why I replaced input and plants, I've gone through it twice with a manual and everything shows correct. I did not touch the valve body front pump is rebuilt. So why is there no drive movement.

Do you have any trouble codes? I would run the codes to see if any are stored. It sounds like the 1/2 shift solenoid is not working, also can I ask if the shift indicator is working? Does it show you are in drive?

You can remove the solenoid and test it with 12 volts and ground, you should hear a click sound. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.

I am trying for the first time to rebuild my 4l60e and I seem not to be able to stack the friction and steels correctly in the input drum, could someone please give me the layout. Greatly appreciated

Thank you for your response but do you by chance have a better pic of the friction and steel plates in order they go in the input drum, please. Apparently that's where I keep screwing up, it shattered the last input drum so I had nothing to go off of to rebuild this one, this is my 3rd attempt.
