In the fuse relay panel under the hood I keep blowing fuse number 8, 20 amp yellow blade fuse. My car will not start I just keep popping the fuses. The batteries new. What is the problem? Why have I gone through five fuses in one week? Now it will not start at all. All my lights come on everything dings.

Fuse #8 is for the starter as you will see in chart below. It sounds like the relay has shorted. Here is a guide to help you run a test:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find.

I had the same problem. I replace fuse 8 and the starter relay and then jump-started it.
It runs. But now it stalls out at low speed and I have to restart it. How can I fix this so it does not stall now that I have replaced fuse 8 and the starter relay?

I checked the battery voltage today and it read 11.5 volts when I started the engine it went down to 9 volts and then back up to 11.5 volts.

But later in the day, I found the starter fuse 8 blew again. I replaced it and then had to jump- start it again. I will take it to O'riellys tomorrow for testing.

It sounds like the starter motor is bad. lets disconnect the wires to recheck by replacing the fuse. This guide can help walk you though the steps:
