Car starts runs great no hesitations but as soon as it comes up to temperature it just shuts off like someone turned the switch off. Changed camshaft sensor and checked all the obvious things but still has the problem when car shuts off it will not start directly after, but if you let it sit awhile it will fire back up with no problems until comes up to temperature again then the problem comes back.

Good morning.

When it does not start, did you check for spark and fuel?

Can you hear the fuel pump turn on?

Was the check engine light on? If so, do you know the codes?

Thank you so much. I have been racking my brain on this one. I am not one to let things stump me or tell my customer I cannot fix it. So any information I can get would be a great help. Thank you again.

Okay, there are a couple of possibilities.

1. Crankshaft position sensor. I attached the procedure and a picture of the location for you.

2. Coolant sensor. Not common but could cause a change in fuel mapping and make shte car stall.
