I've had my pt since 2002, i've been through it all to tell you the truth. If you could give me a bit more info I can try and help you narrow it down. The first few things that come to mind would be a clogged or dirty fuel filter due to bad gas (bigger problem since it's inside the fuel tank itself). One problem I had was also the PVC valve, the car would stutter at times and then come to high idle off and on when I stopped and would the engine would cut off suddenly. This was an air intake/vaccuum leak problem, usually you can hear it hissing off and on under the hood when the car is on. Other than those first few suggestions, when the car was running rough it had been a while since a tune up. When it was really bad on acceleration and when coming to a stop, I found out a spark plug was tightened to much and fractured which created a misfire and occassionally shut the car off. Do you have any check engine lights? Let me know. Anthony
