As stated, I have a 99 Expedition. I have replaced the thermostat, but still having issues. It only gets hot after driving about seven miles. I pull over to let it cool, and then it runs fine. Won't get hot again until I get home, park it, then drive again. The antifreeze is Prestone, non-diluted. I've used several types of cooling system addents. They haven't helped. Please help. Thank you.

This sounds like a fan problem to me like the fan clutch is not working. Here is a guide to help us get it changed out .
