It was running great until it just wouldn't crank anymore. So, a buddy just said here take it, I'm getting me another one. I replaced the crankshaft sensor. Still wouldn't crank. I relearned the passkey 3 system. Still nothing. Then I saw a video saying try this. I pulled a 20 amp fuse out and I think turned the key on and back off or something like that and put fuse back in. Cranked up and ran great for about a month. It started getting harder to crank again. Then the scanner read a bad TPS and camshaft sensors. Replaced TPS. Scanned again. Just read cam sensor. I replaced it and hasn't started since.

Hi,

In this situation, we need to narrow things down. First, if the starter engages but the engine won't start, chances are either we lost spark to the plugs or fuel to the engine.

The easiest thing to do is this. See if the engine starts for a couple of seconds using starting fluid. If it does and then stalls, we know it is a fuel-related issue. If there is no change, then it's likely ignition related. In that case, we need to check for spark to the plugs. Here is a link explaining how to do it:

Start with this and let me know what is found. Also, please provide the codes that you are retrieving.

Take care,

Joe
