After replacing the ignition I accidentally used the old key in the ignition and now nothing works on the car and it will not start

I had the ignition replaced and receive a new key I accidentally put the old key in the ignition and when I tried using the new key it did not work. The, but car has now shut down nothing in the car is coming on lights radio etc. Probably the battery was drained in the process of trying to start the car I am not sure. Now the key is stuck in the ignition and I have no idea what to do.

First thing is to make sure you have battery power. The key will not come out of the ignition without a good battery. Then try the new key. Reply back.
