The other day my wipers got stuck in the up position. I just pushed them down and went on my way. I noticed that they only work in the mist mode, and even that isn't working correctly. Usually I just have to press it once for it to make 1 full wipe of the windshield. Now if I let go it will stop wherever they are at the time so I have to catch them when they're down. But the slow or fast speed isn't working at all.

Hi my name is Dan.

Sounds like you could have an issue with the wiper switch, but could also be the motor itself.
I've attached a few pages for you. These are the diagrams and replacement procedures for the switch and motor. There is also the description of what each position does.
Do you have access to a multimeter in order to test these circuits?

Below is a wiring diagram that will help with testing these circuits but what I would do is just go to the wiper motor and check each of the pins for voltage on each speed setting and let us know what the voltage is on each.

Here is a guide that will help with this type of testing:

Let us know what you find and if you have questions.

Thanks.
