The truck started not wanting to crank over all the time. Battery, cables and harness have been replaced. Chevrolet dealer says alternator and starter are good as well. When you try to start it clicks like the battery is drained. After a few tries it will start. May not do it for a few days then it will start again and do this every time the engine is turned off. What's wrong?

I would first confirm the trigger wire is hot in the crank position.

Here is a guide to help:

If not, I would swap out the starter relay which is located in the main fuse panel under the hood, here are the starter wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. I also have included how to change the starter out if the trigger wire has power.

This step-by-step guide should help as well.

The starter relay did not fix the problem. It will still sometimes just make a clicking noise but will eventually start.

It really sounds like the starter is bad, but can you confirm the trigger wire has power when the system is in the crank position? I would also use a breaker bar on the front of the engine to see if the engine turns over by hand, also I have seen a locked up front accessory on the engine cause this as well, you might want to try to remove the serpentine belt if the engine will not turn by hand.
