Have removed all parts/components in order to remove transmission/converter/bell housing/shifter/etc, from car, the output shaft sits on the teeth of pressure plate, half inch or less to fully drop, someone recommended loosing engine mounts and tilting engine a bit to allow transmission to drop. I have car on jack stands and I have enough clearance to fully wiggle transmission but not releasing.

Good evening.

If I were you, I would get a floor jack and a block of wood. Set it up at the harmonic balancer and jack up the engine at the balancer. It should flex on the mounts and tilt the engine back enough for you to release the transmission.
