Clutch pedal has very little resistance

2000 mustang v6 manual. When I first get in the car the clutch pedal has very little resistance after I start it the car makes loud screeching noise and the clutch pedal gets very stiff. Which makes it very hard to shift gears. Constant screech.

Sounds like the clucth hydraulic system has air in it and/or the pressure plate is no good.
Either way the clutch assembly needs to be replaced and the hydraulic clutch actuation system checked and bled.
