I recently changed my front axles, and it was working for a full day. The next morning as I pull out of the driveway the car moves for a couple of seconds and stops. It begins to jerk forward and backward. The car runs but does not physically move. My dashboard in the middle begins a constant blinking where the letters are. So the P the N and all the letters begin to blink at the same time. I have a dual clutch transmission.

Hi,

You are correct that this is a transmission issue. The PRNDL lights flashing means there is a serious fault with the system and it is shifting to neutral to protect itself.

There are two options. Have it checked out by a shop or get the codes out of the computer and hopefully it is just a sensor issue.

Let me know if you can get the codes and we can go from there or the results of what a shop finds out. Thanks
