I am writing about my leased 2004 Toyota Camry LE. Mileage is at 35840. It is a 4cyl. I recently noticed that my airbag warning light came on without good reason. It now stays on (not flashing) (I misplaced my owners' manual) Is this something that needs to be checked ASAP. I am nervous that if I hit a bump in the road that it will deploy. Is this possible?

I don't blame you of being nervous-me too if I were in your shoes. Its more than ASAP do it now-you don't wanna gamble -you never know.

I've been in a situation were it deployed while being a back seater and its no fun. Get it fix.

There is a problem with the system. Right now your system is deactivated. Get it checked asap by someone who knows what they are doing and has the factory scan tool to check it.
