My car just started to idle very rough when at the lights and feels like it is going to stop, and have noticed when you rev the car there is a heap of white smoke coming out of the exhust, the tempurature hasnt gone over the half mak, but after you drive the coolant is boiling hot and goes into overflow tank and you can hear it bubling boiling
very loud. Ive just had the radiator replaced 2 weeks ago and had the car pressure tested 1 week ago, mechanic said everything was fine but a few days later I noticed that after driving there was no water in radiator but overflow tank is full, ive checked the oil for any water getting in, looking for a milky colour but is fine, but have noticed under the oil cap a yellow white creamy substance there.

thnxs for help

Might mean a blown headgasket cracked head/block

Have it block and pressure tested-do the block first to pinpoint a combustion leaking into the cooling system or a gas analyzer to sniff for hydrocarbons at the radiator fill neck.

Pressure test: do not do a pressure test if there's leakage at the headgasket this might cause coolant into the cylinders and lock it up or bend a connecting rod if cranked thereafter. The headgasket should be repaired before doing the pressure test.

If the block and pressure test passes check the following: Thermostat, Pressure test the Rad. Cap, Clogged radiator, Fan clutch, Radiator electrical fan, collaspe hoses, water pump.
