Hi
I have Toyota Camry 1988 model and after the recent service the car started immitting white smoke from the back. The smoke reduces after some time and after around half and hour becomes minimul or finshes. Can you please advise me what could be the cause?

thanks

White smoke emitting out of the tailpipe is an indication of coolant burning in the combustion chamber. Are you overheating? Is so get it block and pressure tested to rule out a blown headgasket cracked head or block, intake manifold. Check oil if its milky looking

No the car is not overheating. The smoke colour is bluish not white. It is too much when I start the car but reduces after I drive for 1/2 an hour or so. Any help please?

Bluish is a sign of oil burning-sounds like valve seals/stems/guides leaking

Thank for the answer. So why would the smoke go off after 1/2 an hour or so?
