I bought the car nearly a year ago the clutch was soft but shifted good (fastforward) I drive my car to go get fuel get there gas up go to leave and then bam nada the clutch does nothing. What I need to know is how to find out is it's the main clutch assembly (pressure plate throw out bearing etc? Or is it 1 of my cylinders or a blockage in the line?

How do I diagnose the issue so I can repair it?

Also any cheap reliable car parts sites would be appreciated new and used.

Good morning,

Does the pedal feel normal? If it does, then the clutch assembly needs to be replaced.

If not, then it could be the clutch master cylinder. The slave is part of the throwout bearing on the transmission.

I attached a youtube video of the replacement for you.

What clutch comes standard in it? It's a 2.0L 4 cylinder 5 speed? Price checking parts and alternative replacements.

OEM parts from the dealer will be the most expensive.

We use Luk as our parts as they have a great warranty.

I attached the parts from Rock Auto below.
