I will have to look those codes up but those are engine codes and have nothing to do with the security system. If you did a 10 min relearn on the pass lock sensor and it started sounds like you have a issue with the security system. Did you just get a free code read from the auto parts store? Those and the do it yourself code readers cant read body control module codes. Thats where we need to find the codes they will start with the letter B followed by a four digit number. You might also need that scan tool to find the problem by reading live pass lock sensor data etc. They dont make it easy for the consumer to find the problem on newer cars. The professional also lol.

Don't understand what you mean djcl. Fixitmr could a bad signal or short for the pcm be intermitant. I'm thinking it might be the injectors because the last time I had a no start I tried to get it started until the battery died and when I took the front plugs out they were dry as mummy dust. You would think after trying for so long they would be wet. Do you agree?

Yes, I would expect them to show wet condition. Intermittant no signal/short sounds right.

Engine cranking, did you visually check for spark. If no spark, do you have primary voltage to the coil? Any applicable trouble codes?

If there is a short would if effect all six plugs. Or I'm I looking at a pcm problem. And what do I have to do to fix it. It's frustrating ever time I go to start the van not knowing if it's going to start. So I have not traveled to far from home. Where I live we have no public transportation.

If I do find out that the pcm is the problem can I replace it with the one for my 2000 montana without having to program it? Whats the chances I have a broken wire? Would any sensor's cause the same problem? In my book it's said that if a sensor fails the pcm would go back to the last readings and use that to run the engine is this true?

Quick question: condition of car keys? I have a 1999 Montana - trouble starting sometimes. My key has some corrosion up in the shaft where the electronic chip is (inside the rubber/plastic head of the key). Since having a new key made ($55 or so at the hardware store) - no more problems.

My 2002 Pontiac Montana has a problem since about 50,000 miles. After running a/c in hot weather, then turning off vehicle, it will not start for 15-30 minutes. Seems like some kind of vapor lock or something. Any one else had this problem, if so, what did you do to fix it? It only happens if a/c has been on.

Engine will not start properly on Park. It will turn try to run and die. Engine will, however, start on Newtral. What is the cause of this problem. Thank you in advance for your response!
