I have a 2003 grand prix which was recalled and the dealer added some kind of pellets to the coolent. Now I have no heat and it feels like there is gravel in the heater hoses that run to the heater core. The pellets were added a couple of years ago. How do I flush the heater core?

You need to remove both heater hose from the heater core. Next take a garden hose and flush the core until the water coming out is flowing with a good stream. : ) Good luck
