The car is a SOHC 2.3 Liter. Usually the car starts up immediately, with barely a turn of the ignition. Randomly the car will not start what-so-ever. The fuel pump is working fine, the injectors are working, and I'm getting a spark but the car just will not start. Usually if I leave the car alone for a couple hours, once it took a couple days it just starts right up again. I was wondering if you have any ideas on the situation of if you have heard of the problem before. When it will not start it seems just like bad fuel, where you don't hear any combustion in the engine it just turns over, but like I said usually if left alone for a while it starts right up again. Thank you so much in advance for any advice you can give. Have a great day.

How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? When the problem occurs, have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the plugs. Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage, if you don't have one.
