I have a 87 trans am 5.0 FI. I just replaced the fuel filter and got a used MAS. The people I just bought the car from says they just replaced the fuel pump also. When I push the gas down it doesnt rev up or even want to move but if I slowly touch the gas it speeds up slowly sometimes.

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked the fuel pump pressure? Has the catylatic converter been checked to see if it is plugged?

Let me know.
