So at first my car started to overheat, engine started smoking seemed that I had a crack in radiator. Got that fixed and still gauge says it is overheating. But engine doesn't get hot just smells burnt and cuts off usually when coming to a stop. Not sure what is wrong. Any thoughts that would help?

Hello,

This sounds like you might have a blown head gasket. Your engine can be broken down into two halves the top half which is the cylinder head(s) and the bottom half which is the engine block. The two engine halves have to share engine oil and coolant and have passages so that the oil and coolant can move between them to where they need to go. The gasket that seals the two engine halves is called a head gasket. When it fails you usually have a drop off in engine compression, burn oil, coolant, or have coolant mixing with the engine oil. I have included a few links for you to go to down below:

Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out please.
