No problem. I just didn't want them to confuse you or take advantage. Trust me, no need to apologize. You seem like a great person. I wish you were my neighbor. LOL

Take care and let me know what you find out about the differential.

Hi Joe,

thanks for your warm feeling and care. If you consider me a nice person (I hope I am) because that what you are.
We found the left axle broken and rear wheel bearing need change also I quick checked in internet I found it is not expensive so I will try to order it from any us spare parts that they ship overseas mostly takes 10 - 14 days to ship to Saudi Arabia (axle part yc2z-4234-ab) but I don't know the bearings part number.
Tomorrow I will send picture of that also what I have done inside the car
thanks Joe stay well.

If you tell me which bearing it is, I can most likely get the part number. I suspect it is the axle bearing closest to the wheel. They commonly go bad. Let me know. If that is correct, you will need to also replace the axle seal. First the bearing is installed into the axle housing and then there is a seal that goes in as well. The axle itself will go through the seal.

When you get the info, let me know. I suspected something broke. LOL You are not having good luck with this vehicle. It must have had a rough life before you purchased it.

Also, we will need to confirm which differential you have. If you look at pic 1, it shows an exploded view of the full floating differential (Dana). Pic 2 is the part break down and part number for each part. The full floating design has two bearings.

If you look at pics 3 and 4, they show the Dana 60 and Dana 70 semi floating design. I did the same thing with pics. Pic 3 is an exploded view and pic 4 shows the part and number.

Take care and I'll watch for your reply.

Hi Joe,

I don't know what to say the car has 60,000 miles and most of the time stored in good place. They used it two months each year and mostly driven to mecca during haj seasons which is about 2,500 km from where I live and driven back to Riyadh and park it to next year total 5000 km a year in 10 years 50 000 km. The rest I imagine driven in city. The road is highway in good condition. (Except the engine problem) Ford dealer told me the car in good shape last time it was their. This is my story Mr. Joe with the vehicle frankly I thought I could handle the engine problem, but I was surprised nobody can fix this type. Sorry for this long introduction.
I send picture for the left side axle the broken I mange to fix it with electric welding as temporally until I purchase new one. But you see the bearing need to be change right a way it is not available here. The Ford dealer give this part number (yc2z-4234-ab).
Thanks Joe it is an honor to be your neighbor (but don't change your mind after this long story) just kidding.
Best wishes Joe.

Wow. That certainly broke. Please, Please, Please, be careful. I have never seen one welded before. I'm concerned it could break. And you do have the "Full Floating" axle. Which makes it nicer to work on.

Listen, if you can't find the correct part where you are, send me the VIN number and I will see what I can find at a dealership near me. I have absolutely no idea what they will tell me, as far a shipping and all of that, but if I can help, I will. I do have a good friend who is the that runs a Ford, Chrysler, Jeep dealership. If needed, I will see if he can help us.

The only reason I asked for the VIN number is so I can be 100% certain the parts are correct. Please understand that I can't guarantee I can get things for you, but I can make a few calls. I would be glad to help if it's possible.

I did a little more research, and found that the part number is correct that you provided. Let me know if you can't get it. I may be a long way off, but if I can find one, you will get it.

Take care,

Joe

The reason I found a car in us dealer I want to buy but not Ford. I was going to ask about your opinion so I thought this page for Ford cars it was not appropriate to ask about different cars.
I totally understand that. Thank you again for all the time and search you have done for me
wish you all the luck. I was lucky to deal with a great person like you.

Hi Joe,

Your opinion very important to me regard engine easy fixing comfort suspension and compare to Ford (which I relay like but hard to fix).

Thanks Joe that's nice of you.

Wow! That's huge. I have to be honest, you are out of my comfort zone with a freightliner. I am not familiar with them. Yes, they are offered in the US, but I have not worked on them in the past. I don't want to mislead you. Please keep in mind, any emergency vehicle is used hard. Interestingly, this is located in the same state as me. LOL

I enjoyed the video. It looks beautiful there. I would love to visit, but I don't know if I could handle being on an airplane. LOL It makes me nervous. LOL

Minnesota is cold, but it is within driving distance from where I am located (about 10 hours). So, if you ever come back, let me know. I would enjoy meeting you.

Take care of yourself. You are always welcome to come back if you need help with anything or have other questions. I hope to hear from you again.
