I've had this car for nearly a year and have not had turn signals or hazards (inside or outside) this whole time. After a significant amount of research I believe it to be the multifunctioncombination switch in the steering column.

Hello,

It is likely due to a faulty hazard switch on the dash. On this car the hazard switch controls both the turn signal and the hazard function.

Usually when the combination switch goes bad you will only lose the turn signal function.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

I would like to add, there are no ticks, clicks, or sounds of any kind when I use turns signals or hazards. No lights, no sounds, absolutely nothing.

Right, when the switch goes out it will not transmit any power to the lights and will not make any noise.

Excellent. That's what my initial search led me to. I ordered a new switch today but I won't have it for 3 days. Is there a way to test this beforehand? Or am I better off waiting and replacing the switch when it gets here?

You can check for continuity on the existing switch. You can also verify that there is power to the switch (on the wiring harness). Just use a multimeter to check for power and check the continuity for the switch.

Here are a couple of guides that will help with this.

Let me know how you make out. Thanks
