Please help! I bought this car a few weeks ago. When I test drove the car the AC and heat was blowing great. Literally the same day while driving it would go off and come on and go off randomly. The next day it quit altogether. Sometimes I can barely feel air coming out of the vents. I have the glove box off right now but I do not know what to do next to try to find out what the problem is. I have nobody to help me in any way. But I desperately need heat for my two week old baby. Unfortunately I do not have the funds to take it to a mechanic right now due to just having a baby. So if there is anything anyone can tell me please do.
Thanks in advance!

Good morning,

The most common issue for this is the blower motor itself. It is under the dash right side. I will attach a picture for you to view.

2. Release the 8 tabs attaching blower motor to blower unit case and then remove it.

Installation is the reverse order of removal.

Thank you. So can I ask you this, if the cabin air filter has never been changed could that cause it? Probably not. Also, I have read something about a resister? Do you have a link or picture that would kind of show what I need to do to test the blower motors power? Thank you

No, to the filter. That would just stop flow of air but you would here the motor run.

Resistor attached.

It is right behind the blower motor on the case.
