The master control panel on the driver's door works for all the windows except front drivers. There's no other problem with any other window. It just won't open or close the front driver's window. What causes this?

Hi,

If the other windows work, it isn't a fuse-related issue. The problem could be the switch or the motor itself.

If you look below, I attached the wiring schematic for the power windows. What I need you to do is check the two wires at the motor to see if they are getting power. Now, the power can be supplied through either wire based on if the window is going up or down. That reverses the polarity of power causing the motor to run in two different directions.

Looking at the schematic, the wire colors are a bit confusing at the motor, but the plug going to it should have a white wire power for up and a light blue wire for power down. Check to see if they get power under those conditions. All you will need is a test light. Here is a link you may find helpful:

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
