My SUV loses power with sudden acceleration.
Replaced MAP, MAF. MAP was broken so that wasn't working at all.
Something else is happening so I'm reluctant to blindly throw more money at it.
My battery is two years old it only holds a charge for four days.
When I use my key fob my doors don't unlock. But it starts okay.
When I put the charger on it bring it to a full charge my locks work perfect with the key fob. I had the battery checked they said it was good.
The alternator is charging okay. It's like something is draining the battery after four days. When I remove the battery cable to test that nothing is on I get no spark so I it seems that's not the problem.
As I was reading this question and answer I realized this engine power loss started around the time my battery started losing its charge. Do you think there's any connection with the engine power loss and my battery drain?

How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? If problem at higher rpm's, I check for blockage of some kind, the first two things I think of are fuel and exhaust/catalytic converter. I did notice your fuel pressure, key on engine off, 60--66 psi. If you have the spider fuel system, it is noted for problems. That's just a possibility, there are other possibilities. Note the link. At the top of page, vehicle repair guides, the links have a lot of info for power loss and battery testing, a lot of good stuff.
