When I kick it down to passing gear it has no power

Check for vacuum leaks. Scan for codes. Check operation of throttle position sensor.

SENSORS & SWITCHES

PCM/TCM controls converter clutch lock-up, upshifts and downshifts based on transmission temperature, system voltage, throttle position, transmission oil pressure switches, and transmission output and input (engine) speed sensors. System includes several other sensors and switches that are used for engine control (gasoline engines).
