Hi

Jeep Compass--model--automatic and as cheap as you can get.

I had what I thought was a slow leak in the rear passenger wheel. Took it to a tire shop this morning and was told the tire was not repairable and that I needed a new one. He then said because I have an all-wheel drive vehicle I had to replace all 4. When I bought my Jeep, I was told it was front-wheel drive and I had to switch it into 4 wheel drive which I do may 5 days a year when it snows.

We argued and he said I had a system that when the front tires slipped, power would go to the rear tires--I don't recall getting this feature and I understand it was extra.

So, is this guy blowing smoke up my a**?

First of all thank you very much for your donation. Even if you had it where when the one set of wheels slip the others engage that still doesn't make it full time all wheel drive. He is blowing smoke up your you know what.I would take it some where else.
