The engine cranked but didn't fire. The plugs were getting ignition, poured a few ounces of gas down the intake and it fired for a moment but would not run. Pull the fuel pump from the tank, tested it and it worked. Replaced the fuel pump and it fired right up. Could I have a sensor problem and what should I do as it was obviously not getting fuel before I pulled the pump. Thanks. Norm

Hi
Check pump relay in power distribution underhood. If you found no apparant fault with pump relay maybe. Also check ASD same place as relat Auto Shut Down either relay will stop pump operation.
