Anti-theft light flashing after replacing instrument cluster

I brought a used instrument cluster expect same part number and when I installed it the anti-theft light started flashing.

Unfortunately, this cluster requires to be programmed and learned to the vehicle. This means we are not able to use one out of another vehicle unless we program keys to the vehicle again.

Unfortunately, the way this works is the key sends a signal to the PATS module which sends the signal to the cluster where it determines if the key is correct. From there, it tells the PCM that it is ok to start the engine.

At this point, you may need to program new keys to the vehicle because I don't think the current keys will work. However, it is worth trying to use the current keys and if not then you will need to replace them.
